It has been confirmed that The Molson Group will be supporting the 2011 RHL Weston-super-Mare Beach Race on the 7th to 9th October 2011 with the supply of the all-important machinery to build the super-tough dune course.
With the challenging track taking a total of two weeks to build, Molson has agreed to supply two Hyundai loading shovels and a Hyundai excavator for the mammoth task of creating the circuit.
The heavy machinery will also be used to re-grade the track on Friday and Saturday evening of the race, and plays possibly one of the most important roles in the build up to the event – with no dunes there really wouldn’t be a beach race!
